Rather coarse, red-brown biscuit with
1:8 burnished red slip, decorated with black
paint. Irregular ovoid. Hollowed, flaring
rim, through which are 4 string holes.
Two horizontal flattened ledge handles
set irregularly about midway. Flat bottom
Three broad horizontal stripes make 2
zones above handle, the higher & wider of
which has cream wash & black intercepting
chevrons.
