ARU Spring 2026 lecture series
The schedule of public lectures hosted by the Archaeological Research Unit at the University of Cyprus has been announced for spring 2026. On 26 March 2026, after 50 years, the final meeting of the New York Aegean Bronze Age Colloquium will be held at 12:00 pm (EDT). Aleydis Van de Moortel will speak on “The Emergence of Socio-Political Complexity at Mitrou and the Formation of a Central Greek Elite Culture in the LH I–IIA period (ca. 1700–1450 BCE).” Brief remarks on the history of the colloquium will precede the lecture.
