Fabric: pale brown chert, with slightly darker cortex / red staining
Shape: Large percussion struck flake, re-used as a core?
Decoration: flat platform and very prominent bulb; much of dorsal surface retains cortex; extensive step-flaking around distal margin
Dimensions: L 3.9, W 4.5, Th 1.6
Remarks: JFC: odd ventral surface? WAP: Similar raw material as is common at I-28 (gray patinated to pale brown), On large flake, extreme patination makes it difficult to determine which flake scars overly others, possibly just a discoidal flake core.
