Fabric: chert - light mauve/purple fading to greenish at one corner. Homogeneous and good quality
Shape: proximal end of percussion struck flake or blade, wedge-shaped in X-section, retouched marginally by pressure flaking from ventral surface to create a D shaped "thumbnail" scraper
Decoration:
Dimensions: L: 2.1, W: 1.9, Th: 0.7
Remarks: JFC 5/7/93: retouched edge gives a dorsal/lateral scraper margin (too thick to be a sickle element). Cf. CR: This piece is a backed and truncated flake w/ a R distal oblique béc/perçoir, w/ L straight truncation by marginal retouch; inverse distal retouch refines béc.
