| Remarks: | flat side probably originally the top as well finished, chisel marks below, not meant to be seen. Therefore, this is a top of a waist-high stand. Reuse by turning upside down and hollowing out unevenly (one side thicker than other) -- to create a mortar? Similar to unpublished mortars/tomb marker bases in Sparta Museum. | |||||||
