Sarah Lima gives an interview in front of a dinasaur skelton

UC Classics is taking the opportunity to share the greatest accomplishments of some of our recent graduates, women who are making history. Be sure to check out our Instagram this month to learn more about their stories!

Sarah Lima has orchestrated development and installation of eight of Cincinnati Museum Center's permanent galleries as the museum's Senior Project Director for Exhibits, with four additional galleries due to open by the end of 2020. When Historic Union Terminal was fully restored and reopened via a $212M sales tax levy in 2018, the museum committed to a new 22-gallery master plan, which has been funded by an ongoing $40M fundraising campaign. Lima's work on each project required guiding a cross-disciplinary team of creatives, producers, and subject matter experts to develop key stories and learning outcomes, and physical design and production. As a collecting institution with over 3,000,000 objects relating to the natural and human history of the local region, this is an exciting opportunity to engage the city and over 1,000,000 visitors per year in object-, research-, and evidence-centered learning.
