One record = one trench designation

General Info

The Trench is the basic unit of work for a season. Trenches are rarely excavated for more than one season. A trench record must be created before the individual SU records are created.

Relationships

Trench is related to the SU table and several tables which help to summarize all of the data found inside the trench for that season. Trench is also related to the DocumentsLink and Documents tables since all of those documents are trench-specific and not SU specific.
