Fine orange biscuit; surface probably buff;
decorated with matt black & red paint.
Globular, so far as can be seen. High, cut-
back spout oppposite round vertical handle
with cup on top, in the bottom of which is
a perforation which goes through the upper
end of the handle into the vessel. The
neck was probably short and wide. Decor.:
horizontal bands kax at base of neck, in
handle zone and around middle, outlined in
black, filled with red; black wavy lines.
Aven
Red vertical band on handle and on side, from second to
lowest band, containgng black chevrons; in area between **
two upper bands, joining "x"s.
Piece of neck found, 1972, in J4-62 revealing hole
at base of neck.
