Fine buff biscuit. Wheel-made; pressed
out of shape. Lustrous paint fired
near-black to red-brown. Small hole
in bottom pierced before firing. Bot-
tom flattened to standing surface.
Lip coated, foliate band on rim (Furu-
mark, Motive 64,6-IIA). On side, three
upright figure-8 shields (Furumark
Motive 37,1-IIA) with projection* at
top, as if crest of helmet showing.
