well smoothed on ext. Dark red-brown
lustrous paint, partly worn off.
Vaphio shape with hoizontal ridge at
level of lower end of ribbon handle
(cf. Furumark, Fig. 15, type 224 with
higher handle-Myc. I-II). Rim coated;
slanting bars on handle; bands over
ridge and at bottom; main zone has
three spirals with heavy rims and
