Talc ware: fabric otherwise known only in EBA (Period
I-III) contexts. Askos handmade. Askos has single
vertical handle (round in section) opposite spout
on shoulder. Rim of low-collared mouth sloped gently
down and outward toward front indicating a small
pulled-out spout. Pot rests on a low slightly
splayed ring-base. The askos has a squat bulging
bottom to provide greater stability filled. Front
shoulder bulges. The pot is balanced such that fluids
could be poured by tipping the pot forward gently on
its base.
