Semicoarse micaceous fabric. Burnished
light brown surface; biscuit red near
exterior, brown at core. Probably an
upright handle of a jug. Broken at
junction with body of vessel, but thrust
tongue continues, well preserved.
Tongue curves in opposite direction
from curve of handle.
A small round dent on dside of handle
looks like a potter's mark, but is
probably an accidental nick by the
burnishing tool.
