40% pres, incl. base, parts of handle,
small portion of rim. Mended + partly rest.

Melian white ware. Semifine greenish white
fabric. Surface smooth, but worn rough in
places. Decorated with dull brown paint:
Band around narrowest part of base, with
rays rising from it. Line at half-height
with blobs (flowers?) above it. More blobs
below rim. Handle attachments are encircled.
Two vertical lines confine the decoration
to 180°. Raised flaring base, hollowed
underneath. Marked by an oval dent under
base, + a scratched cross (?). A smaller
dent on side below handle.
