Fine orangish biscuit; surface varies
from greenish-buff to orangish; prob.
irregularity due to uneven firing.
Very smooth exterior. Helladic or
Cycladic Matt-painted cup or small
bowl with slightly raised base and
small out turned rim, similar to
K.4213 but smaller. Decoration in
dull black paint, thinly applied and
worn: on ext. below rim, a zone
divided into panels by a group of 6 or
more vertical strokes. Period D.
