of grit, red-brown. Globular. Slightly
spreading rim; small spout restored
opposite round vertical handle below
rim; at right angles to these small pro-
truberances at greatest diameter; slender
tapering legs.
Potter's mark: on the wall of the vase,
just above a leg-attachment, is an
incised mark resembling a Y.
