Fine buff biscuit, buff slip, coated pink
inside, decorated outside with dull black
paint and applied white dots. Decor.:wide
band around rim & base with 2 narrow bands
below & above; on wide bands 2 rows of white
dots; principle motif is running spiral
with joining lines thickened at approach
to spiral to form a sort of triangle.
Tea-cup shape; flat vert. handle; spreading
rim; small raised base. Cycladic.
Marked base: 3 parallel dents on edge;
Set in from them
and perpendicular to them
is a long incised line.
