Fine orange-buff clay, yellow-buff slip;
decorated in lustrous dark brown/ black
paint. Deep open cup-shaped bowl with
straight rim, tapering sharply to short,
marrow tubular foot (pierced); 1 round
vertical handle from just below lip to
shoulder. Decoration: on rim, Curved
Stripes (FM 67:1); on body, 2 more similar
but larger zones of Curved Stripes, with
row of dots surrounded by bands between;
just above foot, a zone of Quirks (FM 48:
5) separated from the lower zone of Curved Stripes by
2 narrow bands; Handle and foot coated, and inside of
rim.
