Depressed ovoid shape; raised base, slightly
splaying, flat underneath; spreading lip.
Stub of 1 vertical handle rising from
shoulder presumably to rim; and stub of a
horizontal handle (standing obliquely on
shoulder) which was undoubtedly matched
by another handle opposite it.
Pinkish fabric, gray at core, buff in places
on exterior surface. Decorated rather
carelessly with red glaze paint:

painted solid underneath and around base;
three horizontal bands on lower body;
wavy vertical stripes on shoulder%; handles
probably painted solid;B lip apparently painted
inside and out. Period III L.
