Moderately clean, gritty biscuit,
buff to light red at outer surface and
inside rim; largely gray at inner
surface. Burnished inside and out.
Outer surface and interior of rim light
brown, mottled in patches to deep red.
Inner surface light to dark gray.
Profile nearly vertical, tapering to
thin lip. Shape and fabric reminiscent
of early Neolithic Rainbow or Variegated
ware of N.E. Peloponnese.
