Buff clay. Fugitive black glaze. Red
paint. Disk base, unerside concave.
Broad groove around bottom of body sets
off body from foot. Steep sides rise to
plain pointed lip. Horizontal handle, onl
only break at point of attachment pre-
served, just below lip. Center underside
reserved; broad outer ring glazed; edge
of base reserved. On body, broad black
band below, broad red band above, the two
separated by a reserved band with a black
line at its center. Handle zone: vertical
lines. Inside glazed.
