Buff clay; black glaze, largely fugitive%;B
red paint. Flaring ring foot; steep,
slightly curving sides rising to plain
lip; points of attachment for 1 horiz-
ontal handle preserved just below lip.
Underside reserved, with three concentric
glazed circles; inner and outer faces of
foot glazed; glaze band on resting surface
edge of foot reserved. Body has alter-
nating narrow and broad glaze bands
separated by narrow reserved bands. The
second and fourth broad bands are edged
with red.
Handle zone reserved, with vertical wiggly
lines. Broad red band below lip. Lip reserved. Inside
glazed, with narrow reserved band below lip.
