Rather coarse grey biscuit with highly
burnished red surface sprinkled with
black specks. Spreading rim; sharp
carination; one small pierced lug
handle at carination. Found lying
against burial jar, xxx and could
have been used as its lid.

Rosette Decorpion in white?
Conservation 1969: dist. water,
cleaned
manually
mended with shellac. Restoration in plaster,
paint applied.
