near bottom; handle attachment.

Fine pink-buff biscuit with buff sur-
face, decorated with red, lustrous paint.
Deep curved bowl with plain rim from
which handle rises obliquely. Narrow
band on rim inside & out; vertical lines
from rim terminating in connected
lozenges with dot in the center of each
Bands across handle; 3 irregular bands
around middle of vase. Non-joining
fragment of handle returned to lot.
(A)- Conservation 1969: distilled water, cleaned manually;
mended with shellac.
