paint. Hollow ring, oval in section;
rising conical spout thickened at
rim; probably had basket handle. Dec:
inner surface of ring, top, bottom &
spout painted, outer surface a
running spiral.
Probably made on a wheel in 2 sections
Definite ledge for joining inside top
and possible joining ledge bottom.
Hole pushed in, into which spout was
attached. (JEC, ME)
M.P. knows of none from Crete; probably LM I.
