Fine, buff (originally less yellow than after
restoration) biscuit & slip, decorated with
dull black paint. Concave. Plain rim; flat
bottom. Attachment for handle near base.
Decoration: narrow band inside rim; small
wavy line outside, larger one below; then 3
narrow bands, 2 more above base; 2 vertical
lines near handle with group of 3 diagonal
lines pointing toward handle, another group
of 2 or 3 higher up; trace of paint belwo
handle join.
Conservation 1968: Distilled water, acrylic
resin + acetone. Restored in plaster.
