Rather coarse tan biscuit with buff slip.
Decorated with lustrous red & dull black
paint. Globular. Spreading rim with ledge
for lid & 4 evenly spaced string holes;
2 opposite pierced lug handles near mid-
dle; flat bottom. Decor.: Entire outside,
rim,& upper inside painted red except
for 3 reserved bands outlined & decorated
in black-1)between rim & handle, double
zigzag, hatched; 2) triangles, crosshatched,
at handle zone; 3) between handles & bottom
overlapping semicircles.
Stone lid K6. 307 was found in situ.
