Rather coarse, sandy, micaceous buff bis
cuit; white slip in & out. Baggy shape.
3 Slightly spreading lip; round tubular
spout just below rim, opposite which a
round vertical handle from rim to side
Opposite knobs on other sides. Decorate
with worn dull red & black paint: rim
coated on exterior (red); black stripes
around spout, horizontal red & black
stripes on handle; on body, 4 zones of
decoration separated by narrow red &
black bands; below lip, red curving line

other zones in black:1 with cross hatching, then 2 with
wavy line, bands below down to base; on base, careless dec-
oration in black, much worn, including x's & a patch of
solid color. Probably Phylakopi.
