Rather fine hard sandy micaceous biscuit,
grey on inner half and buff to pinkish-
buff on outer surface, completely covered
with a creamy slip. Globular body. Bird
head spout with knobs at eye position.
Round vertical handle from back of rim
to shoulder. Deep_vertical gash in lower
third of handle. Decoration:broad to very
narrow stripes of cream slip and red
wash. Cream slip used for additional
decoration over red wash: on head, around eye; in horizontal
stripe at base of neck from which hangs a foliate band
Furu. Mot.64.6 (IIA); in 2 parallel wavy lines on upper
body.
