Mediterranean Archaeological Trust

On 31 January 2014 applications for grants (not normally exceeding £2,000) to assist with the publication, excluding subventions, of archaeological excavation or fieldwork in the Mediterranean world, with possible priority to Bronze Age sites, are due to the Mediterranean Archaeological Trust. CAA 2014

On 31 October 2013 abstracts (300-500 words, in English) are due for the international congress Computers Applications and Quantitative Methods in Archaeology, to be held at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne - Institut d'art et d'archéologie, Paris, from 22-25 April 2014. On 11 November 2013 proposals for sessions are due for the 20th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA AM 2014), to be held in Istanbul from 10-14 September 2014. Chronika 4, 2014

On 15 October 2013 abstracts (100 words) are due for articles for the 4th volume (2014) of Chronika, a graduate student journal covering research in European and Mediterranean archaeology; Chronika encourages interdisciplinary dialogues and innovative approaches to the study of the past. On 1 December 2013 first drafts of full articles (3000-4000 words, with up to 10 images) will be due; on 1 March 2014 revised articles will be due.
