UC Classics Club seeks to raise awareness of the Classics and the impact of Classical past on our daily lives. Every other week we host fun events which explore how modern world is indebted to antiquity. We sponsor Classics movie nights, a pottery tour  in our own study collection, and colloquia hosted by our graduate students on various topics of interest . We make visits to the Cincinnati Museum Center whenever a pertinent exhibition comes; we host an annual spring guest lecture on a topic accessible to the undergraduate community; and we sponsor an annual Certamen for local high school Latin students. We work closely with the Junior Classical League, the Senior Classical League, and UC's chapter of Eta Sigma Phi. Membership is open to ALL interested students, no Classics or Classical Civ. major required!
