Remarks:not pieces esquilles! this piece is not scaled, and it is much thicker than the exhausted and bipolar-reduced cores that often have bifacial pressure flaking. extensive retouch went into making this particular square form, and the piece does not bear any evidence that it served as a t-sledge blade (it is thick, not denticulated, and bears no sickle sheen or characteristic macroscopic use-wear associated with t-sledge blades).
